- Case assessment of complex root canal anatomy
- Root canal instrumentation in curved canals
- Contemporary irrigation techniques


Aims and objectives

1. To allow the practitioner to diagnose and assess challenging endodontic problems in order to facilitate appropriate management

2. To develop a protocol for the management of curved root canal systems

3. To remind the practitioner of the importance of irrigation and to consider the use of contemporary techniques to obtain optimal outcomes


Day 2- Root canal retreatment

- Case assessment and principles for teeth requiring root canal retreatment
- Root canal retreatment: hands on

Aims and objectives

1. To allow the practitioner to diagnose and assess cases requiring root canal retreatment in order to facilitate appropriate management

2. To consider the possible technical problems unique to root canal retreatment and how these may affect treatment outcomes

3. To develop a protocol for removing root canal filling material predictably
